MapQuest continues to roll out new features in 2009. Today the mapping platform has released an enhanced to its Business Locator, allowing one-click search of all kinds of businesses including coffee shops, hotels, grocery stores and gas stations along a users routes.
The online MapQuest website also has a new full screen map and tab-style navigation for maps and directions, effective immediately.
The Business Locator feature is a way for MapQuest to pump up its ad revenues, as it provides another branch for the companies premium advertisers to enhance their visibility.
Less than two weeks ago, MapQuest released MapQuest 4 Mobile with My Places.
