Medion has rolled out three more GoPal portable navigation devices in Europe: GoPal P5235, GoPal P5435, and the flagship GoPal X5535. All three models have sizable 5-inch touch displays and use Authentec’s award-winning AES1510 fingerprint sensor to verify your identity. The feature is meant to deter thieves, rendering the GoPal devices unusable unless activated with your registered fingerprint.
Medion says all three GoPal devices feature “ultra-fast route calculation and response to input commands including voice control”. They also have integrated Traffic Message Channel (TMC) real-time traffic updates and the X5535 has a built-in gyrometer (or accelerometer like that in the iPhone) that maintains the PND’s functionality in case of satellite signal loss in urban areas.
