Mercedes-Benz fans looking for Mercedes’ latest after market navigation device will be looking for the Mercedes-Benz StreetPilot III. Thanks to their partnership with Garmin, Mercedes will simply rename the Garmin nuvi 760 and offer a custom mounting solution installed into the vehicle’s electronics. The Mercedes-Benz StreetPilot III will be available for new generations A class, B class, and C class cars in Europe before the end of May.
The specialized in-car mount is wired directly into the vehicle’s electronics system eliminating all visible wires and text-to-speech directions come directly throught the car’s speaker system. If you happen to be listening to the radio, it will simply mute when directions are spoken and come back on once the StreetPilot is done.
