
Korea-based Mercury’s MD5000 in-dash navigator is nothing less than impressive. Not only is it packed with high-end features but it features support for KT WiBro wireless broadband which enables greater-than-HSDPA-speeds when your vehicle is traveling at speeds up to 120km/h. As for those high-end features, they include:
- Monahan 624 Mhz processor
- LG DMB chipset
- PIP chipset
- Mappy United software (still working on figuring out where this comes from)
- Picture-out-picture, picture-in-picture, navigation-in-picture
- Drag and drop functions
- Trip display dedicated to QUUS, OPIRUS, SM5/7, WINSTORM, TOSCA
- Black box accident recorder (12 seconds before accident, 6 seconds after)
- FM radio tuner
- AV out for rear camera and DVD player
