Check out this cool Yahoo Fire Eagle app for the iPhone called Metosphere that can update your location using GPS or your Wi-fi hotspot, shows you nearby events on Upcoming and Eventful, and even shows you Wikipedia pages related to things nearby. All of this is shown on a map that also shows meetups, emergency alerts, and even geocaches you create directly from the app’s platform. Definitely a cool tool for the urban geocachers out there.
