MetroPCS has announced the immediate availability of the Samsung Finesse (SCH-r810) on its flat-rate network. The Samsung Finesse is the carrier’s first touchscreen handset, featuring Samsung’s new TouchWiz interface with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, tactile feedback and application widgets. One of those widgets is MetroNavigator, a GPS application that provides voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions to any address in the United States.
The Finesse also packs in Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, a music player, email client and a microSD card slot.
MetroPCS is offering the Samsung Finesse on its $50/month unlimited plan, requiring no credit check, deposit, or long-term contract agreement. The monthly fee includes unlimited talk, text, internet access and data. The plan and Samsung’s Finesse will be available anywhere the MetroPCS network is available.
