samsung finesse MetroPCS grabs Samsung Finesse, carriers first touchscreen phone with GPSMetroPCS has announced the immediate availability of the Samsung Finesse (SCH-r810) on its flat-rate network.  The Samsung Finesse is the carrier’s first touchscreen handset, featuring Samsung’s new TouchWiz interface with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, tactile feedback and application widgets.  One of those widgets is MetroNavigator, a GPS application that provides voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions to any address in the United States.

The Finesse also packs in Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, a music player, email client and a microSD card slot.

MetroPCS is offering the Samsung Finesse on its $50/month unlimited plan, requiring no credit check, deposit, or long-term contract agreement.  The monthly fee includes unlimited talk, text, internet access and data.  The plan and Samsung’s Finesse will be available anywhere the MetroPCS network is available.

    I'm liking all there is to do with this phone. Comparible to many other smart phones out there for the price. I can carry one item now! No more juggling a cell phone, laptop and ipod! The only con I have is that the menus are not customable (color schemes/skins)--you can only change the wallpaper, add/remove desktop widgits that are preselected, preloaded. Dificult to find free apps to download to this phone. The other con (and it's in a slim category), it's not 4g compatible...yet!

    I got my samsung finesse about 3 weeks ago and lovin it. not hard to make the decision to buy it since I had a 6265i for about 4 years and finally got wet Cry. did the flash to htc mogul but it busted my last nerve resetting it for the internet plus would not work with skyfire after the flash! Angry I can do everything I need on the finesse. doin a lot of searching for apps and tryin to get vids on there. you can find me at http://www.samsung-finesse.com take care.
