m.imove 3218 And m.imove 4228 Latest MyGuide GPS Units

MyGuide m.imove 3218 GPSMyGuide has added a couple of new GPS navigation systems to their entry level lineup.  The m.imove 3218 and m.imove 4228 both feature text-to-speech, 2.1 million POIs, lane assistance and 3D elevation mapping.  MyGuide’s latest navigational software, MyGuide 8.0, is powered by a 372 Mhz CPU run on the Windows CE 5.0 operating system.  MyGuide 8.0 adds the 3D mapping to the m.imove lineup, has an SDVC features that increases or decreases the voice volume in direct relation to the acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle, and will even warn you when your lead foot is pushing you beyond the posted speed limit.

The m.imove 4228 boasts a large 4.3-inch display, while the smaller m.imove 3218 is a more typical 3.5-inches and has a slightly less powerful battery.  Other features shared by both MyGuide units include 30 GPS channels, 64 MB RAM, and 512 MB of flash memory.

No word yet on any availability locations, dates or pricing.  At least we know they exist.
