Despite its passing through the FCC months ago, we’re still waiting for the internet-connected Mio Moov 380 to hit US shelves. But those lucky buggers over in Taiwan have it already. The SIM-card supported GPS device will allow Taiwanese owners to conduct real-time internet searches provided by Far EasTone Telecommunications, also teaming up with Mio to provide an enhanced Traffic Message Channel (read: real-time traffic). The Moov 380 also features SMS so users can chat with networked friends and family via the PND. Let’s hope it hops the pond and we see it before Christmas.
