AT&T Navigator Launches For AT&T GPS-Capable Wireless Devices

AT&T NavigatorAT&T Navigator, just launched by AT&T, is the wireless provider’s GPS-enabled navigation service for use on GPS-capable PDAs and handsets. Featuring both visual and audible turn-by-turn directions, TeleNav full color moving maps, voice recognition for address and POI entry and search (currently only on Blackberry’s), and travel time estimates with updates, AT&T Navigator provides you with all the features of a PND right on your wireless communication device. The service which also provides real-time traffic information and problem area updates, will be available to AT&T customers for $9.99 monthly and Motorola Z9 users also have a $2.99 Day Pass option. Right now though, all customers with GPS-capable AT&T phones have access to the service for 30 days free.
