With virtually no hoopla at all surrounding the release, Motorola announced yesterday that RadioShack will be the exclusive provider of Motorola’s MOTONAV TN20 and MOTONAV TN30 GPS units.  Motorola claims the TN20 is a good fit for both the first time PND user and experienced user alike, sporting spoken street names, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, NAVTEQ maps of the continental United States with both 2D and 3D display modes, 1 million points of interest, and a 3.5-inch display that adjusts its brightness for both day and night.  Priced at $199.99, the MOTONAV TN20 is the little sibling of the MOTONAV TN30.

The TN30 extends the NAVTEQ map coverage to include Canada and Puerto Rico, has a 4.3-inch display, 4 million searchable points of interest, and integrates hands-free Bluetooth and a speaker enabling wireless phone calls.  The TN30 is priced at $299.99.

Both units will calculate both the fastest and shortest route options, offer advanced lane guidance assisting in complex junction and interchange navigation, and warn you of posted speed limits.  They also have an SD card slot for updating maps, though the card is sold separately, and a USB port for charging if you’ll be using the PND outside of your vehicle.
