Motorola’s Q11 is the latest in the company’s Windows Mobile 6.1 line and despite its fully-featured smartphone spec sheet, the Q11 surprisingly has no 3G data connectivity. While the pricing details have yet to be released, the missing 3G spec could be a way to keep the dollar figure in the mainstream consumer environment, but strange decision nonetheless. Here’s a few of the other important specs:
- GPS or assisted GPS depending on location
- 802.11b/g WiFi via Boingo Mobile
- Quad-band GPRS/EDGE Class 10
- Audio and video playback including MPEG4 and H.264 encoded video content
- 128 MB flash memory, 64 MB RAM, microSD extension of up to 32 MB
- 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus, LED flash, and 8x zoom
- Up to 450 minutes talk time, 195 hours standby time
- Bluetooth 2.1
-
WAP 2.2 / HTML / Pocket IE 6
3G connectivity be damned, Motorola’s Q11 will be released in December 2008.
