MSI is keeping its proverbial nose to the grindstone with the expectant release of the 10.2-inch Wind U123 in April. Like the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE, the U123 will use Intel’s new Z280 Atom CPU. The Wind U123 will also boast up to 2 GB of RAM, unlike the new Wind U120 which has a 1 GB limit. Perhaps most impressive is that the U123 will come with 6-cell and 9-cell (!!!) battery options likely bringing some lengthy battery life to the table.
Later this month, the Intel Z530 CPU Wind U115 is expected to come out with a hybrid storage system–both a hard drive and solid state drive. Also, MSI will release the X340 and X320 notebooks next month. The X340 will be the first to use Intel’s CULV processor.
