Garmin has announced on its blog this morning that MSN Direct-compatible nuvi GPS units can now wirelessly sync Google Maps points of interest. All users have to do is search for a POI on Google Maps, click on the Send link and choose Garmin GPS followed by the MSN Direct tab. Easy as that, and the POI will be sent to your nuvi, appearing on the device within minutes.
MSN Direct already offers traffic data, weather forecasts, movie times and local search, but with the popularity of Google Maps, this new feature definitely makes it better.
