It’s sizeable 4.8-inch touchscreen is the first to display Navigon’s Panorama View 3D, which extends beyond providing a 3D view of the road ahead to all of your surroundings. It even uses NASA terrain height data to produce accurate portrayals of rolling hills and changing elevations.
Providing real-time traffic updates for life, Navigon’s 8100T also provides traffic problem information and rerouting for 95 markets in the United States and Canada. Also featuring Reality View Pro and Lane Assistant Pro, the 8100T ensures driver’s have 3D photo-realistic depictions of upcoming turns, junctions, and intersections complete with arrows, traffic signs, and voice guidance. Other notable features include Bluetooth, voice entry, advanced text-to-speech, and an exit guide for rest stops, gas stations and more.
Another helpful addition to the Navigon 8100T is Zagat’s Ratings and Reviews, providing over 27, 000 reviewed listings of attractions across the US and Canada. Navigon SYNC also allows direct importation of Microsoft Outlook contacts, and the in-car mount has a built-in charger eliminating the worry about short battery lives.
