NAVIGON Introduces FreshMaps: Never Worry About Accurate Maps Again
NAVIGON, one of the most popular North American GPS brands, introduced FreshMaps today-a solution to the age-old problem of keeping maps up-to-date on GPS devices. Available for the Navigon 7100, 5100, and 2100/2120 units, FreshMaps allows users to upload 12 map updates over 3 years via the FreshMaps website or from certain bricks-and-mortar retailers. Costing only $79.99, FreshMaps ensure NAVIGON GPS devices keep up with the 15-20% annual change in road networks and even more frequent change in points-of-interest (POIs). FreshMaps will utilize data from NAVTEQ, the world’s largest supplier of digital map data.
