Digital map provider NAVTEQ is pretty busy over in Barcelona, showing off all kinds of its cutting edge products and services. Most notable is the launch of NAVTEQ Traffic Patterns Europe v2.0, an updated version of the company’s historical traffic data compendium for all of Europe, now including the United Kingdom. The database includes endless kilometers of roads and highways across the continent with each segregated into average speeds, in 15 minute intervals, 7 days of week. What’s so great about it? It helps you avoid traffic congestion, that’s it, that’s all, and that should be good enough.
