Networks In Motion is one of the first GPS applications available in Blackberry App World, but it isn’t the only one.
The company has launched its first direct-to-consumer application today–Gokivo Navigator. Based on NIM’s AtlasBook reference platform, Gokivo for Blackberry allows users to get real-time traffic alerts and summaries, view maps in 2D and 3D, search for local business listings, events, gas prices and 
weather forecasts, and share current location with friends. Gokivo incorporates NAVTEQ maps and derives traffic information from NAVTEQ traffic. The best part is that it’s available now for the Blackberry through the App World.
WHERE also launched today in Blackberry App World today and the freebie app is sitting at number 18 on the top downloads list. I’ll be trying them both out later on today.
