nim logo image Networks In Motion teams up with Ericsson for GPS app distributionWireless navigation company Networks In Motion (NIM) has paired up with Ericsson, a provider of technology services to wireless carriers, to offer NIM-powered voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions to Ericsson customers.

NIM provides 3D maps, local search, real-time traffic information, weather forecasts, local event information, and gas prices.  The Orange County, California-based company powers AAA Navigator available through AT&T and VZ Navigator through Verizon Wireless, among many other branded GPS applications.
