Every Nextar review I come across seems to be a little better than the previous one.  The trend continues with the Nextar SNAP7 GPS, reviewed recently by PCMag.  The 7-inch GPS device is a perfect choice for those looking for both a big-screened navigator with a suitable price tag.  Map of the United States and Canada are includedd on an included SD card, and while the lack of digital media room left over isn’t much, you’ll still be able to playback music via a USB drive.  And while the 1.6 million POI database isn’t as substantial as those offered by competitors like Garmin and Magellan, the search granularity is particularly impressive.  From a purely navigational perspective, the SNAP7 calculates routes quickly and accurately and the text-to-speech feature works well.  Overall, PCMag gave the Nextar GPS device a 3.5 out of 5.  The 7-inch Nextar SNAP7 GPS is currently available from Amazon for $369.95.
