Nokia announces trio of new music phones

Nokia announced three new music-oriented phones this morning. The 5730 XpressMusic, 5330 XpressMusic and the 5030 XpressRadio.

Also featured is a contact bar on the home screen fitting 20 contacts, one-click access to the Nokia Music Store and N-Gage, as well as the full slate of online Ovi services.

The 5330 XpressMusic swaps out the full keyboard for a sliding alpha-numeric version. It also has one-click access to music via XpressMusic touch keys on the side of the display, a 3.5 milllimeter audio jack, Ovi and a 26 hour battery life.

Finally, the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio features an internal FM radio antenna, FM radio and channel selection keys on the side of the device, and provides up to a day of music listening time and 10 hours of talk time. Available in black and red, the 5030 is geared toward emerging markets.

The two XpressMusic phones will officially launch in the third quarter of 2009 priced 280 EUR and 160 EUR, in order of mention. The Nokia 5030 will ship in the second quarter for under 40 EUR.
