Yet another child tracking GPS device, the Nu.M8 digital watch may have something going for it–just because it’s so sneaky and inconspicuous. The watch looks like any other digital watch a child might wear but with the embedded GPS chip it can be used to track your child’s exact location. This can be done either via a dedicated website or by texting the service. Parents can also set up geofences or safe zones that result in an alert if the digital watch-wearing child leaves the designated area. Oh, and get this: parents can even set the watch to alert them if it is removed from a child’s wrist–which will likely happen once they catch wind of your dirty tricks. We’ll get more details when the Nu.M8 GPS watch is shown at CES in Las Vegas. Just expect to pay a fair chunk of change for this GPS tracker. When it has its United Kingdom launch in March, the Nu.M8 will cost £149.99 plus a monthly subscription fee. It’ll also launch in the United States in late spring, likely with a similar price equivalent.
