While one of the latest Google Earth mashups lets you consume your news superimposed on Google Maps, the folks over at Papercuts which tracks layoffs and buyouts at major newspapers has come up with a Google mashup that maps locations and layoff numbers on a Google map. It’s pretty cool and if you head over to the site you’ll be treated to a bunch of other mashups that cover everything from pothole locations to St. Louis homicides.
