It’s not too often I’ve come across a good geo-tool for the Maemo platform–an open-source operating system in development led by Nokia, and used most notably on the company’s N810 internet tablet. That tool, called OSM2Go, is a simple Maemo application developed by Till Harbaum that enables tablet users to contribute GPS tracks to the Open Street Map project.
Currently in version 0.7.9, OSM2Go can be downloaded for Maemo here and so far has nothing but good user reviews. Fellow geoblogger Henri Bergius presented the application at this past weekends State of the Map conference in Amsterdam. You can find the Slideshare presentation embedded below.
