The Palm Pre will launch on June 6 according to an official announcement from Sprint this morning. That’s pretty much in line with previous rumors which placed the launch sometime in the first week of June, just ahead of the expected iPhone launch.
The Pre will be available for $199.99 (after a service agreement) in all Sprint retail stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack, and select Walmart stores. I’m not sure how many Pres will be available, but hopefully if you’ve been waiting patiently for the last few months you’ll be able to get what you’ve been waiting for.
