It came as no surprise to me that Navigon’s 2200T GPS was favorably reviewed by PCMag. Sure, it’s only an ‘entry-level’ unit so you’ll have to deal with a 3.5-inch display, a relatively small POI database, and maps limited to the continental US, but at only $229 it also comes with an integrated traffic receiver and a lifetime subscription to real-time traffic updates. Navigon claims that the 2200T is the first “genuine entry-level GPS navigator” sporting real-time traffic updates, and combined with excellent routing performance (including multisegment routing), text-to-speech, Reality View Pro, and Lane Assistant Pro, PCMag says the 2200T provides great value for your money spent and gave it a 4 out of 5.
