Verizon Touch Diamond: Verizon’s HTC Touch Diamond is on its way.  Specs include a 528 MHz Qualcomm 7500A CPU with 128 MB of RAM, 256 MB flash memory, a 480 x 640 pixel display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus.  There’ll also be a microSD card slot to pump up the storage a bit.

Spousebusters GPS tracking service: An Australian company called Spousebusters offers GPS tracking services to those looking to bust cheating spouses.  Its proprietary software is built for Series 60, Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices and is apparently quite popular.  But a word of warning.  Under Australia’s Surveillance Devices act, those caught using tracking devices without the ‘target’s’ consent face up to 2 years in jail and a $26, 429 fine.

Cydia paid app store: Cydia, the infamous repository for unofficial iPhone applications, is going paid.  A new jailbreaking serivce called Rock Your Phone and an adults-only app store will apparently be included.

Google Maps business closures: According to Search Engine Land, third parties are able to close businesses on Google Maps if the business is ‘permanently closed’.  Google does check requests, but how well? I can see some Yelp-like problems coming here.
