GPS Ranger: GPS/Multimedia Touring Device For The Hearing Impaired

GPS Ranger is the first GPS system/video touring device I’ve seen that specifically targets the deaf and hearing-impaired. Using technology developed by BarZ Adventures, the GPS Ranger provides closed captioning and doubling as a multimedia touring device, provides a multimedia historical lesson on the area you happen to be exploring.
According to Navigadget, the GPS Ranger also features:
- support for multiple languages and demographics
- daily content updates
- directional information
- safety messages such as “Where Is The Bathroom?”
- Breadcrumbing feature tracks where users of the device went and how long they spent there
