Primospot is a web app aimed at New Yorkers accessible from your mobile phone, and iPhone fans will find a version optimized specifically for that phone as well. What’s it do? It helps New Yorkers find free parking spots and garages quickly and easily. It’s pretty new, so right now it only covers the Manhattan and Brooklyn areas (13, 500 different locations), but coverage for Queens, Philly, and Boston are coming soon. All’s you do is punch in the address, zip code, or intersection of your destination and Primospot will show you a Google Maps-enabled map of the neighborhood with all of the free parking listed. Different colored pins tell you how much time is left in any particular parking spot and if you click on a pin you’ll be able to see photos of the parking area and any additional details you might need to know.
