Qstarz has popped out another GPS sports recorder–the BT-Q1300S. With dimensions of 6.2 x 3.8 x 8 centimeters and a 22 gram mass, the BT-Q1300S would in effect be like carrying your key ring while out for a run. From a cold start the GPS recorder takes about 35 seconds to grab a satellite fix which drops down to roughly 1 second from a hot start. Low power consumption means the battery lasts for 12 hours which is perfectly reasonable for an exercise-oriented GPS device. Furthermore, the BT-Q1300S can log up to 200, 000 waypoints, share tracks with friends on the web via Google Maps and more. Available in white and green, the BT-Q1300S comes with QSports software and costs US$129.99.
