The Quarq Cinquo CinQo/Qranium is an innovative GPS device out of Australia that promises to revolutionize the way cyclists train. The device actually consists of two separate components-the CinQo and the Qranium. The CinQo is a power sensor module that measures different aspects of the cyclist’s performance such as heart rate, temperature, cadence, torque, acceleration and deceleration as well as environmental parameters such as temperature, altitude, and GPS position. The CinQo is placed on the custom crank.
The Qranium is the display device, connected to the CinQo wirelessly but placed on the handlebars, and features a minimal glare, backlit 2.8-inch graphic LCD display built with scratch-resistant PMMA. Easy-to-use and customizable with PC-based software in case the user wants a setup different than the factory settings, the Quarq Cinquo is lightweight and waterproof.
Data can be transferred to a PC after a training session or race via a USB cable and the device is both RoHS and WEEE compliant.
