Samsung has confirmed the Samsung SWD-M100 Mondi tablet we saw the other day is going to available on the Clear WiMAX network.
The Mondi runs on the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, and has Route 66 GPS navigation with pre-loaded maps, Gypsii access and compatibility with a variety of other location-based services.
Aside from WiMAX broadband access, the Mondi will also feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, and full HTML web browser support with Opera 9.5. Not only will the Mondi have Microsoft Outlook email and Windows Mobile Office, it’ll also have POP3, IMAP and SMTP email support so you can have your Yahoo, Gmail or MSN email pushed directly to the tablet.
Other features include 4 GB of internal memory, SMS/MMS support, a 3 megapixel camera and video recorder, audio/video playback, and an HDMI output for TV connections. Now we just have to wait for pricing and availability.
