Samsung’s stealth Q1EX UMPC gets GPS, WiMAX support
Samsung had the unannounced Q1EX UMPC under lock-and-key at CES, but one ‘Shogmaster’ managed to get Samsung reps to let him snap some photos. The Q1EX solely uses a touchscreen for inputs–you won’t find a QWERTY keyboard here. Additional specs that are known include an integrated GPS chip, WiMAX-compatibility, and a 4.5 hour battery life. The release date is an unknown, but I’m guessing it’ll be some time in ‘09.
