cyanide Saudi man applies for human embedded, cyanide secreting RFID patentWhile some people are worried about the privacy implications of Google’s Street View imagery, a Saudi Arabian inventor has reportedly filed a patent for the “Implantation of electronic chips in the human body for the purposes of determining its geographical location”.

Oh, and the title of this patent application doesn’t mention that one variation of the said RFID chip contains cyanide, which can be released remotely in case said human turns out to be a terrorist, fugitive from justice, political opponent, defector, domestic servant or even a person that overstays their Visa.

I particularly like the domestic servant one.  Hire someone to clean your house and if they do a poor job, just click your wireless key fob and knock ‘em off with a nice dose of cyanide.  In any case, the good news is that the patent application, filed with the German Patent and Trademark Office has been denied because the country’s patent law doesn’t allow inventions that “transgress public order or good morals.”  Gee, and I thought this patent would help enforce those very things. :)
