I think it's great that technology allows for such amazing gadgets. I wonder if a location based advertisement system will be somewhat annoying to some people. This almost seems like pop-ups that show up on some websites.

True enough Tony. The LBS industry is definitely still in its infancy. I think 2009 will be a big year though.

It will likley grow over the next several years – but keep in mind – people still need to become aware that busiensses exist through traditional media such as radio/tv still THEN location based media comes into play when the consumer searches it out. They work hand in hand.
