In another innovative attempt by a wireless carrier to make more dough, T-Mobile is launching the Equipment Installment Plan, enabling handset upgradin’ hardcores to pay for their new phones and related accessories over four months.
It’s optional of course, and only available to those who haven’t ruined their credit, but if you so choose you’ll be able to pay your first month up front and the remaining three months split up on your first three bills.
According to MobileCrunch, the Equipment Installment Plan doesn’t include any hidden interest charges or other costs and will be available to both new and upgrading customers. Maybe this will help T-Mobile hike up those G1 sales numbers. Stay tuned for more details.
