Samsung’s GPS-Enabled T929 Leica Coming To Best Buy?

Posted in Samsung on November 11th, 2008 by Justin – Comments

Yes I know everyone’s all up in the Samsung Behold at the moment, but it’s probably not the last touchscreen Samsung phone you’ll see from T-Mobile.  Another Samsung touchscreen phone, known as the Samsung M880 Pixon or the Samsung T929 Leica, has leaked through Best Buy’s website.  Featuring a TouchWiz touchscreen keyboard, 3G, GPS, 8 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, video recorder, and an HTML browser, the Samsung T929 Leica is JUST A RUMOR.  Other than this, I’m not sure what else to say, other than I’ll keep you updated.  Rumors!

T-Mobile’s Samsung Behold Gets GPS

Posted in Samsung on November 8th, 2008 by Justin – Comments

T-Mobile has officially launched the GPS-enabled Samsung Behold.  Aside from GPS, the Behold has a large touchscreen TouchWiz interface, 3G support, a 5 megapixel camera, an HTML browser, and a light rose color.  Available November 10, the Samsung Behold will set you back $149.99 with a 2-year contract.

Samsung’s Gravity, the Behold’s sister release partner, unfortunately doesn’t pack GPS.  It also scraps the touchscreen for a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, much like the G1.  The Gravity will be available on November 17 for $49.99 with a 2-year contract.

Samsung’s T919, AKA Behold, Gets GPS With Voice Command Via T-Mobile

Posted in Samsung on October 9th, 2008 by Justin – Comments

Samsung’s T919, known as the Tocco across the pond in Europe, but apparently named the Behold in the United States is coming to T-Mobile November 10.  What’s so great about it?  Well, for us navigation freaks, not only does it have GPS, but also voice command.  Definitely the perfect solution for the Bluetooth-connected driver.  The latest pricing details pin the T919 at $149, undoubtedly with some sort of contract, but we’re not sure if this is after rebate.  Other specs include:

  • Capacitive touchscreen
  • 5 megapixel camera
  • Front facing secondary camera
  • MicroSDHC support
  • Email support
  • Streaming video and video ringtone support

Thanks for the deets, Boy Genius!
