The creators of the popular GPS-enabled iPhone app Where To? have put it on the market. Taptaptap claims to have grossed over US$200, 000 since version 1 hit the app store back in July, but with several other applications on the go they don’t have the time or inclination to behind any marketing efforts behind their Where To? baby. Over at iPhone App Reviews, Where To? impressed, apparently drastically quickening the POI search process by providing a database that can be scroll searched for POIs near your location without having to input any addresses. Where To? is pretty minimal on the GPS integration; it’s used to locate you initially and then it functions more as a map search application but it’d be great for someone who travels alot, constantly in unfamiliar surroundings.
Anyway, it was selling for $2.99 before taptaptap voluntarily pulled it, so if you’re interested just head to their website and contact them. With six figure gross sales in just a couple of months, except to bid high.
