LG and Intel very recently announced their intentions to produce Moblin-based, Atom-powered mobile internet devices. And now we know that those, and other Moblin MID’s will feature Telmap Navigator. Telmap Navigator provides 2D/3D maps, text-to-speech, traffic rerouting, speed camera alerts, pedestrian routing, public transportation details, and more. I can’t wait. Moblin, by the way, is a Linux-based open source software platform.
