I don’t know if it’s the greatest, but this Swiss train mashup plots in real-time the trains as they move along their routes! Click on the link and watch the trains move through Zurich. The mashup takes delay information from ProSURF to derive the positioning of the trains and you can even hone right in via satellite, click on a train and see it’s actual schedule. Might not be a whole lot of help if you don’t live in Switzerland, but you create a similar mashup for your city if it has a subway system. Might be a good way to track your kids whereabouts though-just slap a GPS on his/her car and watch what kind of trouble they’re getting into!
