The TomTom iPhone car kit was expected to launch by the end of summer, but the summer season is all but over and it’s still not here. According to the TomTom iPhone FAQ, the car kit has been delayed until October “in order to deliver the highest quality on this innovative product.” The iPhone car kit improves the GPS reception already available via the iPhone, for which the TomTom iPhone application software is already available.
