The TomTom iPhone car kit had a bit of a false start, originally being posted at the UK Apple Store website as including the TomTom iPhone app in the £100 price tag and iPod Touch compatibility. We now know that the car kit doesn’t include the iPhone app, nor is it compatible with the iPod Touch. Today the iPhone car kit re-appeared in the UK Apple Store with a noticeable disclaimer pointing out the facts that should have been included in the first place. It only seems to be available in the UK Apple Store currently (with a shipping time of 1-2 weeks) though I’m sure it should make its way around the globe in the next few days.
