Two Technologies, maker of rugged handhelds, has revealed the Safari.  The latest in the company’s line of outdoor handhelds, the Safari sports a 240 x 320 QVGA anti-reflective touchscreen with an included stylus plus an optional QWERTY keypad.  Inside is a 520 MHz Marvell PXA270 processor running Windows CE .NET 5.0 and 128 MB SDRAM/128 MB Flash storage expandable with an SD card.

The Safari boasts some extensive connectivity and networking options as well.  Not only is it compatible with Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11b/g and GPRS, it also has USB, infrared, and RS-232 ports.  The device has an expansion port for optional GPS and RFID add-ons as well, not to mention an integrated barcode scanner.

Finally, the Safari is rated IP65 for water and dust protection.  Being aimed at enterprise, Two Technologies hasn’t provided any price info.
