The Mio Moov family has finally been released by Mio Technology, bringing the first four Mio GPS products using internally developed software created from the knowledge bank of recently acquired Navman.
The Mio Moov 200 and 210 both feature 3.5-inch TFT anti-glare, touchscreen displays, text-to-speech, 3.5 million POIs, and 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS receivers with SiRFInstantFixII. SiRFInstantFixII means waiting as little as 5 seconds for signal acquisition from a cold start, up to 30 seconds faster than some products currently on the market. Other features include a USB port and built-in speaker and the Mio Moov 210 comes with 12 months of free real-time TMC traffic updates. The Mio Moov 200 and 210 will retail for $179.95 and $199.95 respectively April 1 at major electronics retailers.
The Mio Moov 300 and 310 both feature 4.3-inch widescreen touchscreen displays, text-to-speech, and 3.5 million POIs. The Moov 310, like the Moov 210, comes with a 12-month TMC subscription. Both models also use a SiRFstarIII receiver with SiRFInstantFixII, have a built-in speaker and USB port. The Mio Moov 300 will be priced at $229.95, while the Mio Moov 310 will have a $249.95 sticker. Both models will hit shelves April 1.
All four models have pre-loaded maps of all 50 US states and Puerto Rico and setup requires no computer.
