Uni-V netbook line has no processing power, but pretty lids

We’ve come across some pretty desirable netbooks lately, but if you’re looking for something as basic as basic gets, the Uni-V might be for you.  Built by Chinese electronics manufacturer Uni-V (currently looking for distributors), the Uni-V is actually a full line of 7-inch netbooks.  The innards aren’t too impressive though.  Inside you’ll find a 450 MHz processor, 128 MB of RAM, and 512 MB of flash memory.  The mini-netbook runs Windows CE or a basic version of Linux, has 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and a couple of USB ports.

There may be one other differentiating factor here if you don’t need the processing speed of Atom-based books–the beautifully designed lids.  Uni-V was at CES last week and the variety of eye-catching lids on display was impressive.  I think I’d opt for the processing power though.  Check out more pics after the cut.
