Verizon continues to deliver on its promise to unlock the GPS on certain Windows Mobile phones this year with an update to the Samsung SCH-i910 Omnia. In a statement sent to Mobileburn, Verizon Wireless stated that Omnia owners will now be able to use non-Verizon GPS apps and that the update should have been pushed over-the-air yesterday afternoon. Last month, Verizon unlocked the HTC Touch Pro GPS on its network.
