After last weeks successful launch of the Where app for Android, Where is launching for the Blackberry Storm today. The application uses your location to provide all types of widgetized content such as the nearest Starbucks locations, Yelp reviews, Eventful events, gas prices, weather updates, and new features including local movies, traffic conditions, local news, and the Where Wall.
The application is a free download that can be grabbed by heading to m.where.com or mobile.blackberry.com.
In tandem with the launch, Where is partnering with Blackberry forums Crackberry, Blackberry Cool and Pinstack to initiate a contest that could win you a free Blackberry. Dubbed WHERE is Your BlackBerry Smartphone at Right Now?, the contest has something to do with haiku’s so it could get interesting.
