Becker’s Mexico 7948 Brings A Retro Look To Contemporary GPS

Some of us love our classic cars, but nothing ruins the aesthetics more than a digital GPS unit and/or stereo in an “analog” car. Enter Becker, a company whose Mexico 7948 provides high-tech, contemporary performance with a classic look. Featuring turn-by-turn GPS navigation, voice recognition control, internet access, an iPod interface and mp3 player, the Mexico 7948 looks like a purely classic radio, but is placed firmly in the 21st century.
One catch to the whole mixing old with new idea though-you’ll pay a whopping 1495 Euros for this baby, the equivalent of $2300US. Right now you’ll only find this model in Europe, but a US model is in the works.
