HTC’s Magic is headed to T-Mobile in the United States, according to a filing with the FCC. The world’s second Android based handset is pictured in all its glory with the pink and gray insignia of T-Mobile USA, and also features an upgraded camera. The formerly 3.2 megapixel camera will be upped to 5.0 megapixels for the United States, and the Magic will support T-Mobile’s 7.2 Mbps 3G on the 1, 700 MHz spectrum. There is also an indication of UMA support for T-Mobile’s [email protected] Wi-Fi, in addition to the already known Bluetooth and GPS support. Unlike the T-Mobile G1, the Magic will feature minimal dependence on buttons and a trackball, as the expected April Cupcake update will add touchscreen keyboard support. The HTC Magic is rumored to launch with T-Mobile in April or May.
