Visitors to the magical world of Disneyland can now plan their vacation with all the location awareness of the iPhone. Application development house GotPlanS has released the first GPS-enabled Disneyland vacation planner for the iPhone. The $2.99 application highlights a users GPS location, enabling viewing of nearby rides and attractions. Furthermore, users can make to-do lists of places to see and the app will highlight list items on the map when nearby. Given the popularity of some attractions, the application pulls in information from users and color-codes points of interest by wait time. This allows the user to plan their itinerary in such a way that hour long lineups can be avoided. Attractions details including photos, height restrictions, etc. are also included, as are full menus from the various restaurants within Disneyland.
